The Big John Miller Band delivers an electrifying mix of Soul, Funk, Jazz, Rock, and Blues. Whether performing at a festival, private party, or wedding, the Big John Miller Band definitely knows how to energize a crowd, and has developed a strong following through their original music as well as their interpretations of favorite classics.

Influenced by Al Green, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and James Brown, vocalist and leader John Miller has developed a style all his own. Voted Best Male Vocalist in the Little Rock Free Press Reader’s Poll, he has performed at the King Biscuit Soul and Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas, the International Soul and Blues Talent Contest and the Crossroads Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee. He has won numerous awards including the Arkansas Musicians Showcase, Arkansas River Music Society Talent Contest, and the Sonny Boy Music Society Talent Contest.

The band supporting John’s voice is just as impressive. Drummer Lance Womack was with W.C. Handy nominee and Alligator Records recording artists Michael Burks and in one of the house bands at the legendary Antones Blues Club in Austin, Texas. Bassist Larry Man performed with John at the International Soul and Blues Talent Contest and was with the Steppin’ Cat Daddies for ten years. Guitarist Jason Hale was a member of Ebo and the Tomcats, The Navigators, and has performed with several touring bands throughout the mid-South.
