About Kelly Franklin, Booking Agent and Owner

Kelly Franklin has been booking entertainment full time since 2003, officially opened Franklin Artists Entertainment Agency in 2004, and has several years’ experience in many aspects of the music business.

Franklin is a professional musician and songwriter who co-produced, released, and marketed an independent CD of original material, which received air play across the U.S. and in several foreign countries. Labyrinth was favorably reviewed in the internationally published Dirty Linen magazine, and Franklin was voted Spectrum Weekly Reader's Poll's "Best Folk Artist." Billboard magazine acknowledged her as a "most requested" artist on Arkansas radio. Kelly Franklin has written music reviews and related commentary for Little Rock Free Press and Arkansas Women's Journal, and hosted a 4-hour eclectic radio show for two years. She produced, promoted and hosted several successful songwriter showcases and a workshop on professionalism in the music industry featuring a panel of local entertainment buyers and booking agents.

Franklin is also a print and web site designer. She was the art department for a large travel agency with over twenty offices in four states for seven years, working directly with the executives of each office to achieve their branding, advertising, and promotional goals. Franklin added web site design to her skillset in 1995, with a client list including Fortune 500 companies and small businesses from coast to coast. In 2003, Franklin donated her skills to Peterpalooza: The Fundraiser for Peter Read and Nightflying, designing all printed materials, advertising, t-shirts, CD cover, nightflying.org web site, and overseeing online sales and distribution of the live Peterpalooza CD.

She is working to raise the bar for professionalism in the entertainment industry in Arkansas.
